Movie a Day

One of my New Year’s resolutions that didn’t really began by being a New Year’s resolution was to watch a movie every day. To take that hour and a half that most people use to browse the internet or watch Tv and just do it. This is day 113º of the current year and I already watched 111º movies. It’s not the perfect score but it’s definitely commendable.
I don’t have a list, and the criteria that I use is weird and unorganized. Oscar nominees, then, everything with Joan Cusack because I like her role in Shameless, then since I’m watching the famous sister of a famous actor I might as well watch everything with Maggie Gyllenhaal, then some shitty movies and some good ones and a Hitchcock marathon because I forgot how psycho “The Birds” really is.
*lame joke*
Six of those 111 I had already seen them before. But still, not too shabby. Anyways, this is just to keep track of the process and remind myself of things that caught my attention.

The way Her kills me with hipster moves, but wins me over with music.
The font in Moonrise Kingdom.
How Josh Radnor is just a shitty shitty actor - Afternoon Delight

The awkwardness in Mr. Morgan’s Last Love.
How the title sequence in Up In The Air is better than the actual movie.
Persepolis is just a beautiful and awesome animation.
The wardrobe in American Hustle.
The way August: Osage County is just really great and uncomfortable.
How Ernest and Celestine is the most endearing and beautiful movie.
The way Filth was predictable.
The wardrobe in Stoker.
The quaalude scene from the Wolf of Wall Street. Look at that face!
